Clayface Delayed

Warner Bros. adjusts the fall slate, moving Clayface, Remain, and Practical Magic 2.

Warner Bros. upcoming DC film Clayface has been delayed as part of a realignment of their fall release slate. Rather than arriving in theaters on September 11th, 2026, it will now debut on October 23rd, 2026.

James Watkins directs the first of DC Studios' Elseworld movies. It leans into the body-horror aspect of the Batman villain's origin and is being produced both by Matt Reeves (The Batman) and James Gunn and Peter Safran (the main DC Studios production team). Tom Rhys Harries and Naomi Ackie star.

The newly vacated date will now be the home of Practical Magic 2, which moves up a week from its previous September 18th date. Remain, the new film from M. Night Shyamalan that previously was set for release on October 23rd, moves into 2027.
