The Girls on the Bus continues to be one of the better shows released so far in 2024 with Kimberlyn's character arc specifically being handled in an incredibly interesting way. As the show passes the halfway point, setting up Sadie and Grace to work together outside their respective legacy media employers is also a great dynamic shift for these two, especially considering how well they set up an established relationship between the two, even if Grace has decades more of experience in the field. Lola continues to be underserved and under respected, both by the writers and the rest of the cast, and hopefully this is rectified in the back half of the season.
