Fantastic Four: First Steps Trailer Released

So there are two weeks until the release of The Thunderbolts, which means it is a perfect time for Disney and Marvel Studios to release the first full trailer for Fantastic Four: First Steps.

The movie stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Marvel's First Family as they set out to save the world from Galactus and the Silver Surfer.

This trailer feels like it gives away more than they probably should have, considering the next time we will see them show up is Avengers: Doomsday. With this movie taking place in an alternate retro-futurist version of the MCU that doesn't have any other heroes, it is largely expendable in the grand scheme of things from a storytelling perspective. The most likely outcome is that the team can't stop the destruction of their world which sends them to 616 in time to fight Doom.

Fantastic Four: First Steps opens on July 25th, 2025.
