Final Trailer For Skeleton Crew Released

With just over a month until release, Disney+ and Lucasfilm released what will probably be the final trailer for Skeleton Crew. The show follows a group of children who get lost in the galaxy and enlist the help of a former Jedi (Jude Law) to get back home.

I've expressed my misgivings about this show. It looks a little on the cheap side and I'm not entirely sure who the audience is for Star Wars by way of The Goonies. That said, I've been wrong before. I doubted Andor, I doubted Agatha All Along, I thought Obi-Wan Kenobi would be good. My expectations are low but all that means is that there is plenty of room to exceed expectations. A lot of the show will ride on the acting of the various children in the lead roles and what material they are given to work with, but the past performance of the various Star Wars shows does not exactly inspire confidence in how this show's quality.

Skeleton Crew debuts on Disney+ on December 3rd, 2024 with a two-episode premiere.
