And so it begins, the hype cycle for the sequel to the most overrated film of 2019  is in motion and, much like watching a car accident in slow motion, there is nothing we can do to stop it besides look on in horror. It seems that this time Arthur Fleck/The Joker has fallen in love with another inmate at Arkham Asylum who will go on to be Harley Quinn in a musical that appears to make an attempt at emulating the big musicals of the past but just misses the mark by a country mile.

Joaquin Phoenix will return as The Joker, in a role he robbed Adam Driver of an Oscar playing and Lady Gaga will join the cast as Harley Quinn. The film that was "shot for IMAX" (typically that means the film was shot normally and will be played in IMAX anyway) will debut on 10/4/2024.
