Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Trailer Released

It feels like it has been a while since we heard anything about the up until today untitled Captain America/Black Panther World War II game from Amy Hennig and Skydance. It was previously revealed at Disney's video game showcase at D23 in 2022 and has not really been acknowledged since. Today as part of the State of Unreal showcase, a new trailer and release window have been revealed.

The trailer showcases a little bit of what appears to be in-game footage but is mostly cinematics and outlines a little bit of what the story will be. Steve Rodgers/Captain America is in Paris trying to help out the French Resistance during World War II when he encounters Azzuri (grandfather of T'challa) who has taken up the mantle of Black Panther. We now also know that Azzuri will be played by Khary Payton (The Walking Dead) and Steve Rodgers will be played by Drew Moerlein (Horizon Forbidden West) with Megalyn Echikunwoke (Arrow) playing a Wakandan spy named Nanali and Joel Johnstone (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as Howard Stark.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is slated for release in 2025.
