Marvel Studios Announces Loki Season 2 and Echo Premiere Dates

In a surprise announcement late Monday, Marvel Studios announced the official release dates for their upcoming Disney+ shows Echo and the second season of Loki.

This fall, on October 6th, the first episode of the second season of Loki will be available to streak and will follow the traditional weekly release schedule for its entire run. On the other hand, Echo will be released all at once on November 29th, 2023, a little over 2 years after the premiere of Hawkeye.  There is no word yet on the total episode count for Echo or how long the episodes will be.

This likely puts the premiere of Ahsoka on August 16th or August 9th as to not have Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm cannibalize each other as has happened in the past with Ms. Marvel and Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Solo: A Star Wars Story back in 2018.  I'd assume the 16th is the more likely date because Loki will be premiering on a Friday and Wednesday the 4th would be the finale of Ahsoka if it runs all 8 episodes weekly. As of writing this, there has been no official release date for Ahsoka given besides the original "August" window.
