Movie Review: Transformers One
Transformers One is not perfect but it is still a ton of fun and beautifully animated.

Transformers One is one of the better Transformers movie (not that the bar is particularly high) but still has its problems. I would have liked to have seen more of D-16 and Orion Pax's relationship before they became Megatron and Optimus Prime instead of having it exposited to me. This would have done more to make the transition of Megatron be more tragic instead of something that is entirely expected. If the trilogy is meant to be the fall of Cybertron then that's fine but I feel like watching two brothers-in-arms slowly slide apart over their leadership styles would have been more engaging over multiple movies instead of it being an almost textbook-like exploration of in-universe historical events.
All that said, I will take one of these every week until the day I die please and thank you.
