Paramount Reveals The Cast For Their Upcoming "Children of Blood and Bone" Adaptation
Children of Blood and Bone arrives in theaters on January 15th, 2027
Following a few years in development hell and rights negotiation, Paramount has officially unveiled the cast for their adaptation of the best-selling YA novel Children of Blood and Bone.
The film will be led by Thuso Mbedu and Tosin Cole in the lead roles with Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo, Lashana Lynch, Amandla Stenberg, and Chiwetel Ejiofor filling out the supporting cast. Author Tomi Adeyemi is cowriting the script and the film will be directed by The Woman King's Gina Prince-Blythewood. The book won the Andre Norton Nebula Award For Middle Grade and Young Adult Fiction and the Lodestar Award for Young Adult Science Fiction at the Hugo Awards.
Children of Blood and Bone is slated for release on January 15th, 2027.
