Pokémon Home To Add Scarlet And Violet Support Next Week

After months of waiting, Pokémon fans will finally be able to move their Pokémon to and from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

After the update releases on May 23rd, 2023, players will be able to move their Pokémon from Scarlet or Violet into Home and vice-versa. Tera type for older Pokémon being transferred in will be determined by its original type, which indicates it will match them and not be an alternate type as if they were caught in a Tera Raid.

Players who transfer a Pokémon from either Scarlet or Violet for the first time will receive each of the starters with their hidden abilities, something that would have been nice to know before spending hours grinding for an ability patch last week before Tears of the Kingdom came out.
