Report: Andy Muschietti To Direct The Brave And The Bold

In January, the new head of DC Studios James Gunn unveiled a slate of upcoming movies in what's being referred to as "Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters." Among the projects announced was a Batman movie that would feature Batman and Damien Wayne called The Brave and the Bold. If rumors are to be believed, it appears that it is now clear who will be taking on directorial duties for that film.

A report from The Hollywood Reporter now indicates that The Flash director Andy Muschietti is the top choice to direct the movie, slated for release in 2025. Considering the movie will feature a major child role, it makes sense to bring in Muschietti considering his prior work on It. Again, nothing is confirmed until there is an official announcement. However, when asked about it, Muschietti responded, "I can't talk about it yet," which appears to be a form of confirmation.
