The Acolyte Trailer 2 Released

With exactly a month until the release of The Acolyte on Disney+ and an extended preview running in theaters alongside the 25th anniversary of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, a new trailer has been released for the show to give a little more of a sense about what the series is about.

The thing that keeps attracting my attention, and hopefully I'm not wrong about this, is that it appears that Ach-To (the world Luke was hiding out on in The Last Jedi) will feature prominently in this show, which could be interesting considering the interpretation of the light vs. the dark that was featured in that film. It also appears that a lot of care was put into the action and fight choreography so there is a solid chance this show stands apart from the other Disney+ Star Wars content.

The first two episodes of The Acolyte release on Disney+ on June 4th, 2024 and stars Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Jodie Turner-Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Rebecca Henderson.
