We've been gone for a bit but we are back and here are some of the biggest stories we missed while we were gone:

- Wednesday at 6 AM on The Backlog Files, we continue our quest to rank every Pokémon game with Pokémon Trozei.
- Wednesday in the early afternoon on Beware of Spoilers, join in for a discussion of the first two episodes of The Acolyte on Disney+.

- Friday on YouTube at 12:30, join in as Adam continues his Nuzlocke of a randomized rom of Pokémon Red as he meets Bill, heads south to Vermillion City, and encounters a fantastic spawn at the mouth of Route 11.
- Saturday morning on Beware of Spoilers, Adam discusses the new episode of Doctor Who.
- Sunday morning on Beware of Spoilers, Adam discusses Netflix's Hit Man
- Monday in the early afternoon on Beware of Spoilers, Adam discusses the fourth episode of My Adventures With Superman.
Three other programming notes:
- The morning Beware of Spoilers episodes will be moving to around 1:15 PM EST on weekdays, on weekends they will still be as early as possible. The evening episodes will remain as normal. This is because the Spotify for Podcasters app is changing and we are changing how we record those episodes.
- We are expanding the content on Beware of Spoilers as we start to build this website and part of this is returning to a modified version of the original format. In the past, the episodes were broken up into two parts: part one was thoughts on a movie and expectations surrounding the release and part two was our review of the movie. With the new format, the second part will be the same but part one will be a review of a previous entry in the franchise or a previous film by the director. This will begin with Inside Out 2 next week.
- On June 15th on The Backlog Files, we will be doing an extended preview episode about a bunch of upcoming indie games being showcased at the Tribeca Film Festival including Neva, Good Night Universe, and Skate Story.
1. Venom: The Last Dance Trailer Released
Because Sony hates the viewers, there's a new Venom movie coming out this year and the trailer is now out. The movie looks atrocious but will likely make enough money to make sure we keep getting Venom movies.
2. Knives Out 3 Has A Title And Growing Cast
Rian Johnson's latest Knives Out movie for Netflix will officially be called Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and will star Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Josh O'Connor, Mila Kunis, Glen Close, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, and Daryl McCormack alongside Daniel Craig.
3. Giancarlo Esposito Officially Joins The MCU
Reshoots are currently happening on Captain America: Brave New World to add Giancarlo Esposito to the cast as a villain and it is unclear who. All that has been confirmed (by him at a con) is that he is not playing a character he has been fancast as.
4. Tom Bombadil Will Appear In Rings of Power Season Two
Peter Jackson had the good sense to omit Tom Bombadil from the live-action movies in the early 2000s but it appears Amazon is going to bring him in for Rings of Power which will be coming out later this year.
5. Moana 2 Trailer Released
Disney's continued efforts to milk their existing franchises continues later this year with Moana 2, a Disney+ show that has been reappropriated into a movie. The visuals look pretty impressive, although there are not enough moments in the trailer to really prove it can do anything beyond what we saw in the original film.
Winners At The Box Office
This comes curtesy of the-numbers.com (as usual) but the omission of Garfield from the list at all feels a little off but here's what they reported:
- IF: $10.8 Million
- Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga: $10.75 Million
- Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes: $8.8 Million
- The Fall Guy: $4.2 Million
- Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle: $3.6 Million
Coming To Home Media This Week
The biggest release on home media this week, and really it's not that big, is Wicked Little Letters. This was a pretty solid movie with Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley about a vulgar Irish woman who moves to England and is accused of sending vulgar letters in the mail to the people in town. Coming To Theaters This Week
This week has two major releases. What could be Sony's best film Bad Boys: Ride or Die with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence opens up against Warner Brothers' The Watchers starring Dakota Fanning and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan.
