This Week Across Our Channels (Week of 11/23)

Happy Thanksgiving! Even though it's a short holiday week, we still have a ton going on so let's take a look at what's on this week's schedule.

Monday: Thirty Minute Reviews - Zootopia

So when setting the schedule for this week, I realized that I don't think I've ever watched Zootopia in its entirety. I definitely remember seeing bits and pieces of it, and I remember feeling strange about how the movie handles the racism subtext (really text), but I don't remember if I've ever seen the movie in its entirety. We'll talk about it on Monday.

Monday: MWPNews Gaming - Stardew Valley Expanded (Part 5)

It's week two of the first summer in Stardew Valley Expanded!

Tuesday: The Backlog Files - Winter Burrow

Any new indie game that has a unique visual aesthetic will instantly catch our attention so join in Tuesday for a review of Winter Burrow from Pine Creek Games.

Wednesday: Beware of Spoilers - Frankenstein

Yes, we are going to finally do Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein, streaming on Netflix.

Friday: Beware of Spoilers - Eternity

Eternity was the opening night film at Hamptons International Film Festival this past October. It tells the story of a woman who dies and has to choose who to spend the afterlife with: Does she spend it with her first love who died young or does she spend it with her husband she spent the rest of her life with? Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner star.

Friday: MWPNews Gaming - Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights (Part 1)

You guys really seem to like the videos playing through old games so I figured we'd take another step back to the early 2000s to revisit what can kind of be considered a metroidvania, Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights.
